AMFIS provides the mobility and flexibility with the use of PDA and a portable fingerprint reader to enable on-the-spot remote verifications.
Using a well-established fingerprint matching algorithm widely used throughout the world, AMFIS is able to quickly and accurately identify any subject through his/her fingerprint. Verification of subject can be done instantaneously through a 1-to-1 match. Unknown subjects can be identified through a search using a 1-to-many match.

Immediate enrolment of subject
Where the subject’s fingerprint is not stored, the application allows immediate enrolment of the subject’s fingerprint and personal details into the PDA. This information can be loaded into the server later.
Remote Vertification of Fingerprint
Remote matching is accomplished through a web interface provided in the application. This allows for a flexible interface that can be customised and extended for ease of use.
Fingerprint records can be stored on the server with high-end computational power. Matches can be done on the PDA through a remote connection against records on the server, thus being uninhibited by the computational power and storage limit of the PDA.
Mobile and easy to use
AMFIS is a standard PDA application that takes up less than a MB of space. It is easy to install and provides a friendly user interface. The application provides the ability to capture the fingerprint, access details of individual records, match the fingerprint against local records and records stored remotely in a database.
Bluetooth Fingerprint Reader
Fingerprint Information is collected from a bluetooth fingerprint reader. Unlike other expensive dedicated devices, AMFIS gives users the flexibility to use any bluetooth enabled Pocket PC PDA together with the bluetooth fingerprint reader.
